Civil/Building Waste/Earth Works

Construction companies are under constant pressure to run their operations more efficiently and on a more environmentally-friendly basis than they have previously. In addition, they must demonstrate that a large amount of their waste materials are being not only recycled, but reused.

No matter the project size or scope, how you handle your construction waste is important. Derwent Waste Management not only collects and crushes aggregates, but also provides muck shifting services to companies large and small in Derby and beyond. Everything we recycle, reuse or produced is done with strict adherence to industry standards.

Brick and Stone Crushing

Our brick and stone crushing equipment can crush a wide range of materials, allowing you to increase your cost-efficiency as well as reduce your carbon footprint.

Recycling and Reuse

At Derwent Waste Management we recycle and reuse old building waste. All of the civil, building and construction waste we collect is recycled into aggregates. These aggregates can then be used for alternative quarried material. The material we produce is Class 6F2 75mm – dust, which is crushed brick and concrete. This is used as a sub-base for general construction for driveways and roads.

Aggregates

In addition to crushed brick and stone, we also crush and recycle materials into numerous types of aggregate including crushed concrete, crushed brick, screened soil and sand.

Muck Shifting

Our muck shifting service extends to both hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Our standard service is available for any requirement, whether ad hoc or scheduled. We provide a fast, punctual service with our own fleet of modern 8 wheel tippers or 8 wheel grab lorrys.
